Lynda attended the University of Massachusetts Boston where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, while concurrently pursuing a Certificate in Shiatsu Massage at the Boston Shiatsu Institute in Cambridge, MA. Her interest in exploring and understanding the human body from an Eastern philosophy led her to seek a Masters degree in Asian Medicine, with a focus in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbalism. Lynda relocated to the California where she attended and received her Masters degree from the Academy of Chinese Culture & Health Sciences, Oakland. She is licensed by the California Acupuncture Board and currently is accepting clients at her Berkeley office.

With an extensive back ground in Asian modalities including:  Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, Acupressure (Shiatsu), Tai Chi, Thai Massage, Medical Qi Gong as well as Reiki, Swedish, Sport and Deep-Tissue massage, Lynda has a unique and profound understanding of the human body. With over 15 years of experience she is an exceptional practitioner able to diversify and work with you to better understand your constitution and patterns of imbalance. Through listening, palpation, and observation she works with you to customize a health plan that best assist your needs. Utilizing acupuncture, herbal therapy, exercises, stretching, dietary recommendations and lifestyle choices, Lynda works with you to restore balance and optimize quality of life. She strives to help people discover a greater sense of self-awareness, improve their peace of mind, and change the way they approach disease, discomfort and their environment. Her approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, empowering and direct.

Lynda’s experience includes, working with the elderly in-patient care to assist in pain management and improve physical strength and function, Fitness incorporations such as the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center at MIT and Healthworks women’s fitness Center Cambridge MA., assisting with general health and well being. She also has a extensive back ground working on structural maintenance and injury prevention while assisting numerous dancers and yoga students/instructors. As well as assisting individuals in self-care and transformational processes with her work at Mii Amo Enchantment, Amara Resort, L’Auberge De Sedona, and Sedona Rouge Destination spas in Sedona, AZ and retreats with Sacred Circularities and Bali Spirit Festival in Bali, Indonesia.
